May 2012 Issue.
Things are heating up. It’s looking like it’s going to be a great rodeo season. There are new rodeos, new events and new shine on the rodeo industry.
Check out the pages of this month’s issue, all things bright and beautiful are within, including our introduction to what’s new in the western fashion world for spring. Our featured advertisers have put forth what they are bringing in new for spring and there are some great new products with a bold new style and a hint of nostalgia.
May is the issue where the winter team roping associations and college rodeo winds up in preparation for the spring and summer events. We have finals results from many of these events in this issue, be sure to check them out. Thanks Mike for the great cover shot from the CNCFR this year.
Next month,, when things really get rolling we will be able to feature many more photos from many great events. Photographers, be sure to send us your best ones!
Until next month
Shannon
Dance like the photo’s not being tagged. Love like you’ve never been unfriended. Sing like nobody’s following. Share like you care. And do it all like it won’t end up on youtube!
The best part about the dawning of a new year is the promise of things to come. It is like the first page of a new book, with all the expectations of an exciting ending. In our case, it is the beginning of a brand new rodeo season and it is shaping up to be an exciting one.
There is truly no better way to start the new year off than by putting together the Worst Wrecks issue. This is by far our favorite issue. The rodeo photographers really put their best foot forward when it comes to showcasing their talents. While you may not be really excited to see your photo appear in this issue, there are many unique situations of which we all enjoy seeing the freeze frame.
We are also excited to offer a new association this month. Welcome to the North American Indian Rodeo Association!
Our editorial contributors have put forward some great articles as well. We are proud to offer articles on your horses’s heart health and a truly inspirational recounting of a moment memorialized by Trevor Brazille. We also are pleased to offer a few tidbits on saving money during this tax season and winter grilling tips.
Don’t forget, next issue is our Stallion and Breeding issue. Be sure your stallion or program is well represented.
Until then,
Shannon
